Why this work

Muslim families in America are stuck between two systems. One says your wealth is an amanah and lays out exactly who gets what. The other has never heard of any of that and will apply its own formula the moment you are not around to object.

Most families find this out at the worst possible time. Somebody dies, everyone assumes it will be handled the way it should be, and instead there is a court file, a year of waiting, and a version of the estate nobody would have chosen.

Hani built this practice to close that gap. Not with templates, and not by dressing up a standard will in Islamic language. By doing the actual work: mapping the heirs, running the faraid calculation for the family in front of him, and then drafting documents that satisfy state law so they hold when they are tested.

Who he works with

Married couples with young children at home. Blended families where the picture is more complicated than a template can handle. Reverts whose families are not Muslim. Immigrant parents holding property in two countries. Doctors, dentists and business owners whose exposure and assets have both outgrown whatever they set up years ago.

What they have in common is that they have something to protect and nobody has explained the options to them in plain language.

Before law

Hani worked in real estate and financial consulting, helping families and investors structure transactions and organise assets. It is a useful background for this work, and it tends to show up as noticing the thing that got missed: the beneficiary form that contradicts the trust, the property held in a way that undoes the plan, the entity that was never actually maintained.

How he works

He answers the phone himself. He explains things until they make sense rather than until he has finished talking. And if the honest answer is that you need less than you thought, he will say so.
